Nobody wants to have a stressed face that screams, "Hey, My life is a mess, or I'm too busy at work to care about how I look" kind of message. But sometimes, no matter how much make up or cosmetic product you apply on your face, you just can't get the look you want. Everybody wants to be at their best always and it starts with the face. Though cosmetic products works to enhance the beauty of one's face, they can't completely remove the signs of tension that tend to show during certain periods and situations. This is where facial exercises come in.
Facial exercises are good in quickly toning and relaxing the muscles in the face. If done properly on a daily basis, they can greatly improve the appearance and expressiveness of your face.
Before you sleep or during/after taking a bath, try to scrunch up your face -- wrinkle your nose, have your forehead furrowed while keeping your eyes and mouth closed. Keep this for a few seconds then do the opposite, open your eyes and mouth as wide as possible for a few seconds. That's already one, proceed to the next exercise. Purse your lips and push them to the right then to the left. Repeat it for at least 16 counts. After that, grin. Grinning is also a facial exercise that works the muscles in the area of your cheeks and chin. Grin widely as if from ear to ear. Stay in this expression for a few seconds. After a while, repeat the grin but this time, tighten your neck muscles and tuck in your chin.
Eye brows can also be lifted naturally by doing some simple facial exercises. Start by lifting up your eye brows using your four fingers. Then, shut your eyes tightly while keeping your eye brows lifted as high as possible. Stay this way for at least 30 seconds. After that, brush out your eye brows.
Apart from toning the facial muscles, these exercises also increase the blood circulation in the face.
