As we age, the skin tone tends to get uneven. This is due to the appearances of dark spots. Patchiness becomes more visible, and it is a matter that comes along with getting older. The problem is very common that a large percentage of women consider hyper pigmentation and blotchiness of the skin a top concern.
So, if there is a product that boasts to virtually undo the visible signs of past sun damage, dark patches, age spots, and acne scarring in just 4 weeks, wouldn’t you try it? This is what Clinique’s Even Better Makeup SPF15 promises.
Even Better Makeup SPF15 is a skincare product that provides clarity, an even skin tone, and a skin with no visible age spots even without any makeup. This is a liquid formula that is applicable to all skin types, enriched with minerals, and long-lasting for a natural skin-perfect look.
With regular application, it gives the benefits of de-aging, covering and treating uneven skin tone in about 4 to 6 weeks.
Clinique’s Even Better Makeup is available in various color selection: Sienna, Clove, Deep Neutral, Nutty, Golden Neutral, Neutral, Ivory, Porcelain Beige, Alabaster, Fair, Honey, Cream Whip, Beige, Sand, Vanilla, Cream Chamois, Cream Caramel, Golden, Amber and Ginger.
Clinique offers other products such as Even Skin Tone Corrector to go with Even Better Makeup for the continued benefits of having even skin tone.
As additional actions for keeping your skin even, Clicnique recommends the four basic formulas. First, remember to practice safe and guilt-free tanning. Excessive exposure to the sun is never good as it darkens and damages the exposed part of the skin, making the skin tone greatly uneven.
Understand your own skin tone and know the appropriate care for it.
Third, never forget to exfoliate. Regular exfoliation helps in improving the skin’s evenness, texture and clarity.
Lastly, eat a balanced diet. Fruits rich in anti-oxidant and Vitamin C as well leafy vegetables rich in Vitamin E are great for the skin.

Not everyone is gifted with natural rosy cheeks that simply glow with pinkish tint. Even if you are blessed to have them, losing the face's natural glow because of the many factors that come into play such as stress and pollution. But, thanks to makeup, women who wish to regain youthfulness can bring back the glow onto their faces once more with just a few strokes of blushes there and there. One of the most important makeup tools in this beauty routine are blush ons.
Blush ons, aside from providing a pinkish appeal back to one's cheekbones, help cover up some of the unwanted spots on the face. Blush ons remove the tired and stressed appeal on one's face and replace it with a more refreshed look. If you can notice it, applying blush ons not only beautifies a person's cheeks but also brings out the sparkle of the eyes.
Different types of blush ons are available on market. They are present in different shades. Color is the most important thing to consider when choosing which one to apply on your face. You should pick the one which best replicates the natural glow or blush of your face. Pinching your cheeks to get a natural occurring blush is a trick to know how pink your cheeks can get. Use that shade as basis on how red or pink you want your blush on to be.
Blush ons come in different textures and product presentation too. Picking out the right kind of blush is vital in order to give your face the best look. Powder blush is the most common type of blush to be encountered on market and is the simplest one to apply. Almost anyone with any skin type can wear this type of blush on. Powder blush ons last longer on skin compared to other types of blush ons. The one commonly used by professional makeup artists is the cream blushes. This type contains moisturizers making it suitable for those who have dry skin. Gel blushes are another type and are recommended for normal skin types. Applying it and distributing over your face can be easily done with your fingertips.
Having that certain glow is not impossible to achieve even with a week loaded with work and stress. Sometimes, it all comes down to having the right makeup tool to give you the youthful look you long for.

Mineral Cosmetics have been used over centuries now. Mineral cosmetics are made from colored minerals such as mica, titanium oxide, ultramarine & zinc combined with other natural ingredients. These cosmetics come in all forms from foundation, bronzers, veils, blushes, lipstick to eye makeup. A wide variety of them is available and there is certainly something for everyone.
As previously mentioned, the use of mineral cosmetics have been for years. It started with the Egyptians, who treated fashion and beauty with high devotion. They were resourceful enough to make cosmetic products from the available minerals of different colors in their lands. They collected these minerals and ground up into fine powders to be used as eye shadows and blushes. Using fingers or kohl pencils, the early Egyptians applied these mineral beauty wonders.
Application of mineral cosmetics come with a lot of benefits. First of the list is their state of being natural. Mineral cosmetics are proven to be healthy for the eyes as they tend to give protection against the harmful rays of the sun. The natural ingredients such as natural oils and fats also protect the skin from harsh elements.
Natural powders do not clog pores unlike chemically formulated chemicals. Chemicals found in cosmetic products tend to go deep in the pores especially when not properly removed from the face at the end of the day. This causes skin darkening, skin irritation and other problems.
Mineral cosmetics stay longer on the face which eliminates the need to reapply often. Along with that, they provide a more natural feel while efficiently hiding blemishes and other facial imperfections.
Your color choice basically comes up as the main consideration in choosing the right mineral cosmetics. What you need to take a close look in are the cosmetic brushes. It is advisable to use separate brush for each type of mineral cosmetic. For blending mineral powder makeup, over sized brushes tend to work best with their large, light strokes. Achieving your desired color tone is going to be as easy as 1, 2, 3.
Skin type bears no boundaries with mineral cosmetics as they are good for all skin types, skin tones and are perfect for women of all ages.

Your wedding day is definitely one of the most memorable days of your life. It is one of the happiest days in a woman's life if not THE happiest. So, it is a must that you look your best on that special occasion. Many photographs would be taken on that day and surely, you would want your beauty to shine and be captured. For that reason, makeup application for brides is a little different than the average. Proper application of the foundation and concealer, eye make-up, blush and powder and lipstick should be ensured to bring out the beauty of the bride.
Applying the right foundation helps a lot in adding glow to the skin. To enable the makeup to glide evenly, begin with a primer to fill in the pores and lines. Use a light moisturizer and allow it to sink in for at least 10 minutes before applying the foundation. Avoid using thick moisturizer prior to applying the foundation as this may not lead to positive results. Try applying your highlighter over the moisturizer and under the foundation to create an additional glow. For brides with oily skin, apply an oil-free foundation or something that says non-comodegenic on its label. Remember to look for a foundation that is closest to your skin color. As for the concealer, use something with a dry consistency.
The eyes are the reflection of one's soul. For your wedding day, you want your happiness to be reflected through them. Proper eye makeup gives additional staying power and glamour as well as light to your face. To achieve that, use a liquid liner and apply it by dotting between the lashes and smudge it with a small brush. Set the look by covering the liner with the right eye shadow powder. You can highlight your eyes more by using a thin line of white eyeliner on the eyelid. After you have added the color, keep your eyebrows up with a clear eyebrow gel or mascara style brush that is spritzed with hairspray. Waterproof mascara is the right choice if you want to be free from streak-stained cheeks and raccoon eyes. Just like with the foundation, the color of the eye shadow must suit the color of the skin.
Start with a cream blush if you have applied cream or liquid foundation. Dust it using a translucent powder and then go with a powder blush. For a longer staying power, try layering your blush. Blush tends to fade first so try choosing more darker and more saturated blush colors. However, you would not want to look clownish on your wedding day so look for colors that match the color of your chest, fingertips and palms.
Use pencil to line and fill in your lips. Also, before applying any color, smoothen the foundation on the edges of the lips. Apply your lipstick by brushing it on, blotting with a tissue and then reapply. Bright lip colors are not advisable for brides since they tend to smudge them most.
As the bride, you have the right to be the center of attention on your wedding day. Having the right makeup application is one of the steps to achieve that.

Cheerleading has already been turned into a sport which requires much energy since organized routines such as dances, jumps, and stunts are to be performed. Being considered as a dynamic athletic sport, breathe taking routines like tosses, human pyramids, yelling and more are involved. That is why it is a must for any cheerleader to look at his or her best while performing with ease and confidence. Below are some useful tips on how a cheerleader should look.
Eye Make Up
Being the most promising part of the body, it is important to keep the eye as gorgeous as possible. In applying eyeliners, it is best to use liquid eyeliners to achieve a defined and clean look.
Body Make Up
As a cheerleader, you have to always make yourself look presentable and charming. You can make use of glitters to give your body that shining effect when performing. Try to combine different glitter and shimmering products to get a different and unique result. Water based paints can also be used to decorate the body for added design and effect.
Hair
Since cheerleaders are usually jumping and performing stunts, they have to worry less about their hair. Cheerleading does not only require neatness but also practicality with regards to how they would look while performing. A simple ponytail would look perfect on any cheerleader, for as long as it will not in any way disturb the performance.
These are just a few tips on how to dress up and look perfect for a cheerleading competition. It is best to take note that beauty is not only what matters, but how a cheerleader performs and acts while performing. Also, if the cheerleading has a theme, it is best to go along with it for the team members to look united and suited with their theme. Do not over accessorize for it does not look good, and you might just end up the laughing stock of the whole audience.

Putting make up on the eye might be a little bit tricky as you have to do a lot of experimenting for you to be able to get your desired outcome. All you have to do is just unleash your imagination and try out on different combinations to create a unique and wonderful outcome. The following are a few tips to help you get started on your eye make up.
Keep your eye liner pencils in a cool place like in the refrigerator. If the kohl is hard, it would then be easier for you to sharpen them and use them for your eyes.
For your lower lash lines, try to use white eye pencil as it would brighten the look of your eyes. Just be careful in using eye pencils to avoid hurting yourselves.
Before applying eye make up, take a few minutes to lie down with your eyes shut and put on a slice of cucumber over both eyes.
If you see dark circles on your eyes, try to hide it by using concealers.
For a dramatic eye look, apply electric blue eyeliner on nude eye shadows. You can also experiment with your eyes using bright colors like violet and orange but not the neutral colors brown, gray and black.
If you want to achieve a cat’s eye look, a liquid eye liner on the upper lash line would do the trick.
Groom your eyebrows simply by combing them upward or by trimming them using a tiny scissors.
These are just a few of the many things you can do with your eyes. Remember to be experimental so that you will achieve different results. You might even discover a unique eye make up that would surely be the envy of many people.

Learn How To Apply Makeup
Makeup should be applied using the following six steps:
1) Foundation & Powder
Apply a little foundation to the palm of your hand and then proceed to use the tip of your two fingers to apply it to your nose, cheeks, between the eyebrows and on your chin. Always ensure you move in small motions outward on your face and carefully blend it into your skin. Work quickly and lightly to ensure best results. Once you are finished you can grab a tissue and lightly blot it over your skin to make sure there are no uneven marks.
Next you grab your compact powder to match your skin tone and lightly apply it to your face. Make sure it is added with a light touch and doesn't streak across your face. Use some tissue paper to blot excess powder off your skin and use your fingers to lighty blend it in with your face if need be.
2) Blusher
Find a color to compliment your skin. Soft shades of pink, to light reds depending on your skin tone. Grab your big blush brush and softly coat it with the color of your choice and then lightly brush across your cheek bones, making sure you move outward with a soft sweep. You can add a bit of blusher to your forehead and on your chin to complete the look.
3) Eyeshadow
Try to find a fine, blunt-ended brush to use for this. Apply a base color to your entire lid from the inside to the outside corner and ensure to use a darker shade if you want to add depth and definition to your eyes.
Where your brow bone is ensure to use lighter shades if you want to emphasize and darker tones usually define your eyes.
4) Eye Liner
For liquid gel eye liner you need to work from the inside of the eye to the outside, and remember to keep the line light and not smudgy. With pencil eye liner it will give your eyes a more softer look, but remember to keep it sharp or else it will spoil the whole effect.
5) Mascara
All you need to do here is lower your eyes and gently brush your eye lashes from root to tip with the mascara brush. Some people apply it on top of the lash as well, but it is up to individual preference.
6) Lipstick
First you need a lip liner. The shade will depend on your lipstick color of choice. Some people prefer it slightly darker or an even color to match your lipstick. Apply it sparingly to your lips to define them.
Then add your lipstick and finish off with using a clean tissue to place between your lips to even the tone better. You can add a color sealer to keep your lipstick from disappearing, but once again it is up to individual choice.

"I found her as she walked through the alley toward an unknown pub. Her golden orbs were devoid of emotion as her rose-tainted lips tilted into a seductive smile. Her raven tresses appeared as silk that gently sashayed back and forth in the breeze. But it was her eyes that held me captive. Her gaze was dark, mysterious and full of hidden intent..."
Don't you wish you create a dark and a mysterious look with makeup to make you appear more beautiful and yet untouchable. Of course it is possible with makeup.
In actual fact I would say that if you have a face with very little definition, it is possible to achieve this look.
First you need the basics.
You apply your foundation and powder as normal. Go for the flawless finish, add a dash of lipstick and then start with your eyes. This will take the most time. You want it to look sexy and mysterious but not cheap or like the sixties.
An idea of what it would look like is this:
You can go for different colors if you think it will suit your skin tone better, but always apply the grey/black eye-shadow on the eyelid with a bit of blue smudged into it so it isn't all black or dark. Then add a soft pink or purple. Alternative use dark colors like dark green or skin tone smudged with grey.
Experiment with a variety of colors before you settle for the final touch. Here you want to use eye liner. Let it accentuate your eyes but the line to it almost appears a bit cat-like toward the outer edges. Next add your mascara and you will be done. If you have light eyebrows, then use light brown or dark charcoal black to smudge some color into your eyebrows. Just because someone doesn't have eyebrows, doesn't mean you can't make yourself look stunning.
So what are you waiting for! Become the vixen of the night you have always dreamed of.
